Verification increases the security on BeWelcome, by making sure that members use their real name and real street address on BeWelcome.

It is done by members for members and it is completely free of charge. Basically, you can verify you next host/guest. Just go on their profile and click on  "Verify member" and follow the steps.

The new Board of Directors met for the first time on the 13th of August. It was largly an organizational meeting and decisions were taken regarding the focus of this year's BoD.

From now on meetings will take place on every last Thursday of the month.
